Chelsea Watch Striker from Ghana

Chelsea are monitoring Ghana striker who plays for Serbian club, Crvena Zvezda, Richmond Boakye. 24-year-old attacker is called to be one among the striker who targeted the Blues.

Chelsea lost Alvaro Morata who suffered a hamstring injury. In addition to Morata, Chelsea only has Michy Batshuayi to fill the attacking position.

The Blues will monitor the performance of Boakye when his team play against Arsenal in the Europa League. So far, Boakye has scored three goals from seven appearances in the Serbian SuperLiga.

Richmond Boakye is not a stranger to Antonio Conte. Ghanaian players had joined Juventus in 2012. However, just spend time as a loan player to another club.

At that time, Conte assessed that Boakye has not shown a convincing appearance. After moving the club as loan player, Boakye began to show sharpness when anchored at Crvena Zvezda.

Boakye has penetrated Ghana’s senior squad since 2012. So far, Boakye has recorded 12 appearances and contributed six goals.
