Courtois More Glad to Break the Point
Chelsea’s main goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has stated that he prefers to concede his goal but his team win, rather than reach a draw without conceding.
Where, they are held to a goalless draw counter Arsenal last weekend. Though throughout the match that took place at Stamford Bridge, the Blues have a chance to mature through Pedro in the 22nd minute after the players get feedback from Cesc Fabregas. But his shot was thwarted well by veteran goalkeeper Petr Cech. So that both teams have to settle for sharing points in the fifth week of the English Premier League.
Even so but the retainer of the Belgian national team is still happy to get his team points and himself happy because not conceded a goal. He also admitted that the Gunners played very unusually in defense and attack. Proven club from North London also has a chance through the feet of Aaron Ramsey but unfortunately can still be thwarted goalposts.
“Clean Sheet is always good, but not when you draw 0-0, I prefer conceding a goal and winning with the team, like when we won 2-1,” said Courtois on the club’s official website.
“It was a tight game, where both teams know how the game runs as we play against each other in the last few months. It was hard to find space and they put very good pressure on our defense.
“Sometimes I try to play from behind to find space. Because playing with only long passes does not always help us find space.
“I would not say we played a bad game. Arsenal played tactically well and pressed us. We have several chances, especially from Pedro which one against one with Petr Cech, but that is a good save from him.
“I think we will be able to play the game because if it is a goal then Arsenal will certainly be more attacking and there will be more room for us.”
