Manchester City Wait Alexis Sanchez With Open Hand
Manchester City awaits Alexis Sanchez with open arms after his future again cast doubt on Arsenal.
Gunners star Sanchez will return to his club on Sunday after his summer break extension, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain are eyeing his signature. However, less than 24 hours Arsene Wenger insists Sanchez will return to practice.
The Gunners are aware of Sanchez’s complaints, they have contacted him and his agent. However, they insist that Sanchez’s return date to Arsenal remain unchanged and plans for pre-season schedules will be changed if he wants to change them.
Sanchez’s contract at Arsenal is only one year away and negotiations on a new deal stop making big questions about his future.
Sanches himself has told his friends he wants to leave this month: “I’ve made a decision, but now depends on Arsenal and see what they want,” quoted from mirror.co.uk (28/7).
However, his attempt to leave the Emirates was again delayed even though Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain were attracted to him. His move to City stalled because Wenger did not want his players to move to rivals in the Premier League, while PSG is focused on Neymar mega transfer.
Wenger firmly says Sanchez will not be going anywhere this summer. Wenger’s decision was final, but Guardiola still intends to test Arsenal’s determination.
Manchester City lost the hunt for Dani Alves who preferred to move to PSG. This makes City increase their efforts to get other targets. After this failure they poured 130 million pounds (about Rp2, 27 trillion) for Kyle Walker, Danilo and Benjamin Mendy and Sanchez next target.
Bad situation in the locker room
Former Gunners striker Alan Smith’s best solution for Arsenal and Sanchez is to let the Chile striker leave. He said: “Alexis Sanchez is a big shadow hanging at the Emirates. Arsene Wenger says he has no intention of selling it, but he (Sanchez) intends to leave, “quoted from mirror.co.uk (28/7).
“If you have an unhappy player like Philippe Coutinho at Liverpool, that’s not a good situation in the dressing room. To me this is not complicated: let him go, get the money and move on. ”
“What the owners think is keeping a player who can make £ 60 million and then take it off without getting anything 12 months later, I do not know.”
“It happened many times at Arsenal.” (Source: mirror.co.uk)
